What is a participant?

A participant is someone who has earned a reward or performed at least one loyalty action. Participants are based on unique email address. When someone performs a loyalty action or unlocks a reward, LoyaltySurf adds them as a participant in your campaign if they do not already exist. Learn more here.

What is a campaign?

A campaign is simply a loyalty program. You would want multiple campaigns if you develop in a staging and production environment.

How long does it take to implement LoyaltySurf?

LoyaltySurf can be fully implemented in an afternoon. This includes campaign setup, loyalty trigger installation, and automating reward fulfillment.

What happens when I go over my participant limit?

If you ever go over your participant limit, you can choose to be automatically upgraded to the next plan up, pro-rated. We'll send you email notifications when you've reached 50%, 90%, and 100% of your participant limit. You must have a payment method on file to be auto-upgraded.

Can I choose what counts as a loyalty action?

Yes. With LoyaltySurf, you get to choose when to trigger a loyalty action. For example, rewards can be unlocked when a new lead in your CRM has their status updated or when a user in your web app completes a post-signup workflow.
